We are a not-for - profit organization committed to the promotion of successful ageing for older persons. Our service arm , the Hua Mei Centre for Successful Ageing (HMCSA), is launching an innovative programme, SINGAPace, to provide all - inclusive care for frail elders in the community, as an alternative to nursing homes. Modelled after the successful PACE (Programmme of All - Inclusive Care for the Elderly) in the United States , an adult day health centre will be set up to serve as the centerpiece of the comprehensive cluster of services to be provided by SINGAPace.
HMCSA is looking for a dynamic individuals to fill the following vacant positions :
Senior Executive/ Assistant Manager of Hua Mei Training Academy
Manager of Hua Mei Training Academy
Senior Trainer/ Trainer/ Associate Trainer cum Curriculum Developer (Both Full-time and Part-time required)
Senior Executive/ Assistant Manager of Hua Mei Training Academy
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the operations, administration and performance of the training academy, making sure they are in compliance with programme funding, WDA and CPE guidelines as well as organisational policies
- Experience in administering WSQ courses and CET reports to WDA are a must.
- Ensured quality assurance and compliance with CPE and WDA requirements.
- Ensure proper process implementation and high efficiency of the day-to-day administration of WSQ courses.
- Market, recruit, plan course schedule and execute academic matters pertaining to course administration and delivery matters.
- Preparation and consolidation of reports for internal (Management) and external (Funding Projects).
- Manage the maintenance of student database.
- Ensure examination and academic matters are conducted professionally and accordingly to CPE requirements
- Coordinate with trainers to contribute their creative, professional expertise, talents and skills to deliver quality and relevant training courses
- Participate in networking, sharing and collaboration with professional teams from various sectors to identify and develop new training needs and initiatives
- Assist management to strategize and achieve goals of the Training Academy
- Any other duties as set up by the Head of Academy
Requirements:
- Recognized degree with at least 3 years of relevant working experience. Candidate has working experience in the eldercare sector and/or working experience with a Private Education Institutes (PEI) is preferred.
- Strong in WSQ Programme Management.
- Strong in CPE and WDA Quality Control.
- Strong interpersonal and project management skills.
- Ability to work effectively independently as well as within a team
- Good presentation and written communication skills
Manager of Hua Mei Training Academy
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the operations, administration and performance of the training academy, making sure they are in compliance with government funding, CPE and WDA guidelines as well as organisational polices
- Experience in administering WSQ courses and CET reports to WDA are a must.
- Supervise the executive(s) for the smooth operations of WSQ courses, ensuring high service quality and efficiency of the day-to-day administration
- Plan course schedule, recruit and execute academic matters pertaining to WSQ course administration and delivery matters
- Preparation and consolidation of reports for internal (Management) and external (WDA & Funding Projects)
- Oversee the maintenance of participants database and placement of participants
- Ensure all WSQ assessments are conducted professionally
- Coordinate with trainers to contribute their creative, professional expertise, talents and skills to deliver quality and relevant training courses
- Participate in networking, sharing and collaboration with professional teams from various sectors to identify and develop new training needs and initiatives.
- Assist management to strategize and achieve goals of the Training Academy
Requirements:
- Recognized degree with at least 3 years of relevant working experience in a supervisory capacity. Candidate has working experience in the eldercare sector and/or working experience with a Continuing Education Training (CET) is preferred.
- Strong in WSQ Course administration and reports to WDA
- Familiar with CPE guidelines
- Strong interpersonal and project management skills
- Ability to work effectively independently as well as within a team
- Good presentation and written communication skills
Senior Trainer/ Trainer/ Associate Trainer cum Curriculum Developer (Both Full-time and Part-time required)
Responsibilities
- Stand-up delivery for WSQ programmes in Community and Social Services- Senior Services subsector
- Conduct orientation sessions for new trainer or associate trainer
- Evaluate trainer/associate trainer performance and the effectiveness of training programs, providing recommendations for improvement
- Develop evaluation and feedback procedures
- Conduct surveys to identify training needs based on customer’s requirements and other factors
- Develop and organize training manuals, multimedia visual aids, and other educational materials
- Plan, develop, and provide training such as classroom training, demonstrations, on-the-job training, talks and workshops
- Analyze training needs to develop new training programs or modify and improve existing programs
- Review and evaluate training and apprenticeship programs for compliance with WSQ standards
- Coordinate and establish professional courses provided by the training academy
- Any other duties as set up by the Head of Academy
Requirements:
- At least a Degree in Nursing, Healthcare or Gerontology related
- At least 5 years of relevant working experience
- At least 2 years of training or teaching experience
- Attained full ACTA
- Strong in stand-up delivery for Community Nursing or HealthCare or Social services in the subsector of Senior Services)
- Strong interpersonal and facilitation skills
- Good presentation and written communication skills
