Hua Mei Acupuncture & TCM Centre (HMAC)

Our Hua Mei Acupuncture and TCM Centre offers Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) treatment of acute and chronic health conditions that adheres to World Health Organisation standards. This underscores our commitment to give the public choice of integrative East-West medical care. The Nursing Assistant is required to assist TCM physician to attend to patients.

Nursing Assistant

Requirements:

  • GCE ‘O’level / equivalent.
  • Preferably an enrolled Nurse.
  • Mature worker with some years of related work experience.
  • Able to speak Mandarin advantageous

Hua Mei Care Management Service (HMCM)

The Care Manager team serves the frail older persons with chronic illnesses, multiple needs and weak social support. The programme aims to link and monitor needed services to support older persons to remain in their own homes for as long as possible as well as support families in their care giving.

Care Manager (Social Work)

Requirements:

  • Must be mature and have strong people skills
  • Able to work independently
  • Degree in Social Science, preferably Social Work and Psychology
  • At least 3 years’ working experience in social services or related fields
  • Ability to speak Mandarin and dialects is essential
  • Training / Experience in gerontology is a strong plus
  • Must be committed to work with the older persons
  • Must have good writing skills

Hua Mei Mobile Clinic (HMMC)

HMMC provides primary health geriatric care to the homebound elderly

Medical Officer

Requirements:

  • MBBS from NUS or an equivalent medical qualification from a medical school recognized by Singapore Medical Council
  • At least 5 years post-graduate
  • Has done at least an Internal Medicine or a Geriatric Medicine posting
  • Posting in Rehabilitation Medicine, Graduate Diploma in Geriatric Medicine from NUS, Dialect-speaking ability, people-oriented attitude, passion for elder-care, willingness to learn, and knowledge about community aged-care services are useful attributes of potential candidates
  • Our patients are frail and disabled elderly who are mostly living in the HDB heartlands. Potential candidates should be willing to perform house visits and work as a team with nurses and social workers

HUA MEI TRAINING ACADEMY (HMTA)

We are looking for a dynamic and suitably qualified candidate who can contribute positively towards TSAO Foundation’s Quality Provider status under the Workforce Development Authority Workskills Qualification training under the newly launched Community and Social Services Framework (Senior Services Sector). We have an immediate vacancy as follows:

Programme Director

Responsibilities:

  • To manage and execute the overall WDA project and ensure compliance to the needs/KPIs set out as a Quality Provider
  • To market the program through formulating marketing strategies, costs managing, pricing formulation, design of flyers, upselling activities, public presentation, attend road shows and ensure course enrolment rates meet projected KPIs
  • To oversee Training Rollout involves design training flow; manage costs, delegation of duties, monitor and liaison with trainers. To ensure smooth operation of the admin process involving proper recording, collections & payments and budget
  • To ensure Post-Training matters procedures / requirements are met
  • Set up the Career Services Unit and to achieve targets laid out
  • To actively participate in Networking to facilitate awareness of the program
  • To work closely with relevant government agencies for funding and disbursement matters
  • To report to CEO regularly for updating on the running of the program and also work closely with other HODs

Requirements:

  • A relevant degree with at least 7 years of working experience in related field
  • Some years of working experience at management level
  • Strong leadership, organizational,communication skills

Programme Manager

Responsibilities:

  • To oversee the Level 3 & Level 4 marketing and training efforts to meet KPIs set at this level
  • To liaise closely on training administration
  • To provide attachment support
  • To manage the placement activities
  • To provide support to Project Director
  • To attend meetings for key account servicing
  • To assist drawing up reports
  • Follow up on reports to WDA for level 3 & 4
  • Liaise with trainers
  • Do roadshows independently
  • Liaise with CDCs and other grassroot organizations

Requirements:

  • A relevant degree with at least 5 years of working experience in related field OR
  • A relevant diploma with at least 7 years of working experience in related field
  • Strong organizational, communication and writing skills

Programme Executive

Responsibilities:

  • To handle Level 1 & 2 marketing / training projects to meet KPIs set out for these levels
  • To take charge of the attachments in field work
  • To co-ordinate the arrangements for course preview
  • To handle enquiries from interested participants
  • To ensure submission of timely reports and to adhere to timely outcome tracking
  • To handle the placement activities
  • To provide training administration and logistic support
  • To provide administration support to the team.

Requirements:

  • A relevant diploma with at least 2-3years experience in related field
  • Able to work as a team with positive work attitude

Coaching & Counselling Manager

You must have :

  • A degree in Social Work / Psychology / Counselling.
  • Must be a Certified Counsellor.
  • Minimum 5-8 years relevant work experience in clinical counselling & coaching techniques on an individual and group basis, and clinical supervision.
  • With at least 3 years experience in management role.
  • Able to lead and manage a team of 3 - 4 counsellors.

Programme Co-Ordinator

You must have :

  • Minimum ‘A’ level qualification
  • Able to perform general admin work.
  • Able to organize and manage collection of data for purpose of submission to government organizations.
  • Computer literacy is a MUST.
  • Proficient in Microsoft office: excel, word, access, powerpoint, etc.
  • Mature and with good oral & written communication.

Nurse Educator (Senior Services Sector)

Responsibilities:

  • Identify learning gaps and training needs of course participants
  • Formulate training plans and schedules
  • Coordinate/organise training activities to strengthen clinical practices in topical competency units
  • Carry out on-the-job training (OJT) and classroom lectures
  • Assist to appraise and evaluate performance of participant during workplace attachment at client homes.
  • Ensure new course participants receive quality workplace orientation and training
  • Formulate training plans for community training (staff / volunteers / carers)
  • Documentation of plans, progress and review
  • Carry out remedial action as deemed necessary in collaboration with the Project Director
  • Undertake any other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Degree in Nursing
  • Minimum of 3 years recent clinical related experience
  • Experience in clinically based nursing education
  • Experience in clinical programme development
  • Demonstrate ability to work in a collaborative practice model with a multidisciplinary team
  • Good interpersonal skills, with the ability to relate well to people of all levels
  • Able to demonstrate strong management, leadership and motivational skills
  • Independent as well as a good team player

Trainer (Psycho-Emotional)

HMTA Trainers are responsible for the development and delivery of age care and health portfolios. You will be responsible for training in psycho-emotional and social dimensions of ageing and aged care. Successful candidate should possess a high level of maturity, strong people and communication skills, with strong proficiency in English. Other major language / dialects skills will be useful. Candidates must enjoy working with the community, and be able to work independently as well as with a team of professional trainers. In addition, candidate should meet the following requirements:

  • Degree in Human Sciences / Psychology / Social Work
  • Experience in healthcare or age care an advantage
  • Diploma holders with substantial relevant experience will also be considered

TSAO Foundation

Finance & Administration Manager

Job scope:

  • Responsible for Finance, Office Administration and IT functions.
  • Direct the annual operational budgeting cycle and lead in the preparation of the annual budgets for all divisions.
  • Manage the treasury function and investment policy.
  • Regularly review internal control procedures and ensure compliance on corporate governance issues.
  • Handle audit, tax and other statutory requirements.
  • Ensure smooth running of the office operation comprising of clinical team and backroom support.
  • Play a key role in liaising with outsourced IT vendor in maintaining a stable MIS system.

Requirements:

  • A degree in accountancy or a professional qualification with 5 years of relevant working experience.
  • Experience in budgeting and forecasting with variance analysis.
  • Good knowledge of local tax and statutory reporting requirements.
  • Analytical, confident and enthusiastic with good interpersonal skills and able to communicate with all levels.
