East West – The Raffle’s Raffle

A CSR project of East West Executive Travellers in aid of older persons under the care of the Hua Mei Clinics.

On 5 December, 2007, East West Executive Travellers as part of its CSR project , CARE, which stands for Caring, Attending and Reaching for the Elderly, launched the Raffle’s Raffle , an artistically unique fundraising project combining the beauty of art and soul of humanity.

With the privileged support of limited edition artworks by watercolor maestros, Mr. Khor Ean Ghee and Mr Ng Woon Lam, the Raffles’ Raffle hopes to raise the awareness and support towards the cause for elderly with these unique series of limited edition prints of five properties of the Raffles Hotel and Resorts around the world that will be sold at $100 each.

There is only a limited print of a total of 6000 tickets, each featuring one of five Raffles Hotels and Resorts properties around the world. Each painting represents the prizes of the draw which includes a pair of Raffles class tickets and accommodation at Raffles Hotel in Beverley Hills, Paris, Dubai, Beijing or Singapore. The draw will be conducted on April 20, 2008 in conjunction with the Queen Elizabeth II races to be held at the Singapore Turf Club.

All proceeds will benefit Hua Mei Clinical Services, the primary care outreach arm of TSAO Foundation which gives older people access to quality integrated medical and social care in their homes and communities. More information at: http://www.tsaofoundation.org/communityHealthLeft.html
