Back pain no more for elderly patient

Mr Cheong Ying Shoong, 83, never misses his weekly acupuncture sessions at the Hua Mei Acupuncture Clinic. Acupuncture has helped him manage his chronic lower back pain.

Despite a spinal operation over a year ago, the stubborn back pain has returned. Instead of a second spinal operation, he opted for acupuncture as an alternative to pain treatment. Mr Cheong is now able to walk a longer distance without experiencing sharp pain in his lower back.
