Maximising Potential through Guided Autobiography
The Guided Autobiography (GAB) is a proven life review tool that enables individuals to reconnect with their past aspirations, and unleash hidden potential for new pathways in their latter years.
The programme developed by American psychologist Dr James Birren uses reminiscence, narrative therapy and exploration of the inner psychological experience of the individual.
After ten weeks of weekly group discussions, participants would have developed greater appreciation of their lives’ experiences, and be motivated to be actively engaged in society as long as they can.
